Marintellect's staff has many years of experience working in scientific research and product development. With basic experience in machining and welding, we understand and work well with master machinists, welders and other fabricators to produce stunning results for whatever unique device you wish to create.

Below are some examples of design schematics for a device that showcases Marintellect's mechanical design capabilities. The device incorporates many different materials such as ceramics, stainless steel, aluminum and copper. It was machined with high precision and operates under high-vacuum conditions. It was built for creating experimental materials for magnetic recording media (used in computer hard drives, for example), and has been in regular use since 1997 at the Center for Magnetic Recording Research in San Diego, California.
